Perfumes started as a way of hiding body odor many centuries ago. They were less expensive and more common in the days where bathing was less common. Now, they are often used as an accent for a woman going on a date or a woman trying to attract a potential partner. The argument over whether or not perfumes work for this purpose rages on. The major reason for a person to wear a scent is because they want to look and smell nice.
Perfumes do give off a noticeable aroma. They are designed to do so. A vanilla perfume can give a nice accent without being overpowering. A good quality product usually comes from a higher-end department store like Macy’s or JC Penney. The user will not find the perfumes that are a hundred dollars more announce, but she will not find the odoriferous offerings that are common in the less expensive stores. If she wants to see what the scent smells like without ending up wearing it, she can spray the atomizer into the air and take a sniff.
